At Rella’s Movement Studio, everything begins with one core belief: every body deserves the chance to move with purpose, confidence, and freedom.

We believe movement is about far more than exercise. It is about building the strength, trust, and confidence to live life well. Every session is guided with intention. Every movement has a reason. This is not about punishment, pressure, or chasing extremes. It is about purposeful movement that supports the body for life.

For many adults, especially those navigating injury, joint pain, health concerns, menopause, life transitions, or time away from exercise, traditional gym environments can feel intimidating, overwhelming, and at times unsafe. At Rella’s, we take a different approach.

Rella’s is a boutique, client-centred space where people are supported, not judged, and guided, not pushed. There are no crowded floors, no pressure to keep up, and no one-size-fits-all workouts. Instead, we take the time to understand how each person moves, what their body needs, and how to build strength in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and supportive.

Using tools such as kettlebells, free weights, ViPRs, sandbells, and Power Plates, we help people move better in real life. Our approach is grounded in sustainable human movement, helping clients restore function, rebuild strength, improve confidence, and create a body that better supports everyday living.

We work with people from many different starting points. Some are returning to movement after injury or time away. Some are managing joint pain, reduced balance, changing health, menopause, or the physical effects of stress and life demands. Others simply want to feel stronger, steadier, healthier, and more confident in their body again. No matter where someone begins, they deserve the opportunity to move well, build strength safely, and feel supported in the process.

Rather than placing people into large classes or generic programs, we provide thoughtful coaching, personalised guidance, and an environment where movement meets you where you are. Our goal is to help people rebuild trust in their body, regain confidence in how they move, and develop strength that supports the moments that matter most.

CINDY RELLA

I’m Cindy Rella, a world champion athlete, movement coach, and founder of Rella’s Movement Studio. Some of the greatest lessons of my life have come from chasing success through karate and Ironman triathlons. I learned the importance of genuinely listening to my body, adapting, and respecting the value of training smarter, not harder.

 

This shift became the foundation of how I now live and coach, and it led me to my greatest successes as an athlete: becoming a multiple Kettlebell World Champion with 33 gold medals and 13 world records, as well as earning my 4th Dan in Karate. Today, I see myself as a lifestyle athlete, someone who trains for life, with success as the byproduct.

 

Before stepping fully into the fitness world, I spent 20 years as a printing machinist, combining my love of colour and design with a mechanical mind. While karate training, I began connecting those worlds, seeing the body as a moving piece of machinery, where every part works in harmony. I tuned into movement so deeply I could hear it as well as see it. After a series of injuries, that awareness helped me heal intuitively and sharpen my skills in martial arts, enabling me to read movement and counter with precision.

While helping others in karate, a life-changing event inspired me to explore becoming a personal trainer. However, the industry placed too much emphasis on aesthetics and quick results, rather than on health, function, and longevity, values that are important to me. I kept searching until I found my people, completed my Cert IV, and began carving out my own path with education that truly aligned with my vision.

I’ve now spent more than 15 years in the fitness industry, blending my lived experience as an athlete with my education as a coach to create an approach that bridges the gap between personal training and allied health. My focus is simple: to improve health span, restore movement, and transform lives in functional, holistic, and sustainable ways.

 

My journey hasn’t been without challenges; those experiences taught me resilience and the importance of balance. That’s why, alongside kettlebell sport, I’ve returned to tap dancing and ballet, not for medals, but for the pure joy of playful movement.

 

Now, as a post-menopausal woman, I’m passionate about reshaping the conversation around health, wellness and menopause. My mission is simple: to help every body move with purpose, for a purpose, embrace change, and be their own brave.
