Starting (or restarting) your fitness journey can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re dealing with pain, injury, menopause changes, joint replacements, low confidence, or just the frustration of feeling like your body isn’t doing what it used to.

You want something that works,

Something safe, personalised, and sustainable.

Something that meets you where you are… not where someone thinks you “should” be.

That’s precisely why small-group functional training at Rella’s Movement Studio might be the perfect fit for you.

It’s not just another gym class; it’s a smarter, kinder, and more purposeful way to train.

The Unique Benefits You Can’t Ignore with Our Small-Group Training.

When most people think of “group fitness,” they think of high-intensity classes where you’re pushed to keep up, even if your body is screaming at you to stop.

That’s not what we do here.

My small-group sessions (maximum 6 people) blend strength, mobility, breathwork, coordination, and real-life movement skills. Every session is designed to help you move better in the world outside the studio, carrying groceries, getting up and down from the floor, walking without pain, lifting your grandkids, or returning to the activities you love.

You will notice we dont name the groups, we design them for you

Here’s what makes this style of training so powerful:

  • Strength and stability for real life, without pushing your body past its limits: Using functional equipment and purposeful movement patterns, we build strength in the areas you rely on every day. The skills you develop here transfer directly into real-life tasks, so you feel strong both in and out of the gym.

  • Better mobility and happier joints: Rather than forcing your body into shapes it’s not ready for, we teach it how to move well again. This is a game-changer if you’ve been dealing with stiffness, recurring pain, or feeling “tight all the time.”

  • Confidence in movement: You’ll learn how your body works, how to breathe better, how to move efficiently, and how to stop the habits that keep you stuck. For many clients, this is the first time exercise actually feels empowering rather than overwhelming.

  • Coaching that truly pays attention: I’m beside you every step of the way, cueing, adjusting, and personalising the session so your body gets exactly what it needs. You’re never left behind, lost, or trying to keep pace with a room full of strangers.

  • A supportive community that gets you: Most people who join my sessions have walked a similar path, dealing with pain, injury, menopause changes, low confidence, or years of pushing themselves too hard. Here, you’re surrounded by people who want to feel good in their bodies again, not compete or compare.

If you’ve been navigating chronic pain, menopause symptoms, recurring injuries, or simply feeling disconnected from your body, small-group training can be the turning point—the moment things finally start to feel better, not harder.

How Small Group Training Adapt To Your Needs.

One of the biggest fears people have about starting a new fitness routine is

“Will I be able to keep up?”

The answer: Yes,

because the session adapts to you.

Every day, your body turns up differently. My approach is to meet you right where you are:

✔personalised variations for injuries, pain, or fatigue

✔ low-impact options

✔ strength-level progressions

✔ regression without judgement

✔ mobility-first modifications

✔ education so you understand why we’re doing what we’re doing

You don’t have to be “fit enough” to start. You need a willingness to move.

And if you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, starting after joint replacement, or navigating menopause, this format is ideal.

How Long Until You Feel a Difference?

Many people feel improvements in:

  • movement quality

  • confidence

  • joint comfort

  • strength

  • breath control

…within 3–6 sessions.

Because you’re not just working muscles, you’re training your whole body to move better. It takes time to unwind old habits and reshape connective tissue that’s been holding patterns for years, but that’s what creates real, sustainable change.

Consistency (2–3 sessions a week) leads to noticeable:

  • better posture

  • easier daily movement

  • more overall strength

  • improved balance

  • more energy

  • fewer niggles

You don’t need to punish your body to make progress. You just need training that’s smart, purposeful, and right for you.

Why Training at Rella’s Is More Than a Workout: It’s a Smarter, More Sustainable Way to Move.

At Rella’s, “train smarter, not harder” isn’t just a slogan; it’s the foundation of everything we do. Many clients tell me this is the first time exercise has actually made sense for their body, their stage of life, and their long-term wellbeing. Here’s what sets our small-group sessions apart from the typical big-gym experience:

  • You learn to listen to your body, not fight against it: Pain isn’t a failure; it’s information. We use it as a guide to help you move better, breathe better, and understand what your body is truly asking for.

  • You build resilience, not exhaustion. Training should energise you, not deplete you. We focus on controlled strength, better movement patterns, and sustainable progress, not pushing you to the point of burnout.

  • You’re supported by a coach who genuinely cares: This isn’t a cookie-cutter class where you’re just another number. Your body, your needs, and your story matter. Every cue, adjustment, and progression is personalised to you.

  • You belong to a community that lifts you up: Our sessions are welcoming, inclusive, and ego-free. You’ll feel supported by people on similar journeys, people who understand pain, injury, menopause changes, fear of movement, or simply feeling lost in big gyms.

  • You train with purpose, not guesswork: Every session has intention. Every movement has meaning. Nothing is random. You’ll always know why you’re doing what you’re doing and how it benefits your body in real life.

For so many clients, this is the first time exercise has felt empowering, safe, and genuinely enjoyable, not punishing. It’s training that respects your body today, while helping you build a stronger, more capable tomorrow.

Your Path to Pain-Free, Purposeful Movement.

If you’re wondering how to begin, the process is simple, supportive, and designed to meet you exactly where you are. The hardest part is reaching out.

  1. Start with a consultation: We take the time to look at your pain, mobility, strength imbalances, movement habits, and goals, so I can build a plan that’s safe, personalised, and right for your body and help you decide if small-group training is the ideal starting point.

  2. Choose your starting point: Begin with small-group sessions or a private intro, whatever feels most comfortable and supportive for where you are right now.

  3. Show up exactly as you are: Your body won’t feel the same every day, that’s normal. We adapt your session to suit how you arrive.

  4. Train consistently, 2–3 times per week: Small, steady steps create big, meaningful change. Consistency, not intensity, is what transforms your body and your confidence.

  5. Watch your body change from the inside out:

    With time, you’ll notice:

    • more strength

    • better mobility

    • improved balance

    • increased energy

    • reduced pain

    • renewed confidence in how you move

These improvements extend far beyond the studio and into your everyday life.

If pain, injury, menopause changes, or years of pushing yourself too hard have left you feeling stuck or disconnected from your body, you are exactly who I created these sessions for.

At Rella’s, you’ll receive:

  • guidance

  • community

  • structure

  • support

  • personalised coaching

  • and a movement approach grounded in experience, compassion, and science

If you’re ready to move with purpose, confidence, and joy…
